Sydney Sweeney Is (Literally) Bottling Her Bathwater — And Fans Are Loving It
Sydney Sweeney is officially taking fan service to the next (slightly sudsy) level. The Euphoria star is partnering with natural hygiene brand Dr. Squatch to create a limited-edition soap — and yes, it contains a splash of the same bathwater from her viral bubble bath commercial.
Now 27, Sydney Sweeney previously starred in a steamy, playful campaign for Dr. Squatch’s Natural Body Wash. But fans apparently wanted more than just visuals — they wanted the water too. And surprisingly, Sydney delivered.
What Is “Bathwater Bliss”?

Sydney’s Bathwater Bliss features sand and pine bark for a natural scent.

The result is a cheeky new bar soap called Bathwater Bliss, made with exfoliating sand, pine bark extract, and what the company calls a “splash” of Sydney’s actual bathwater. According to Dr. Squatch’s official press release, the product is meant to “channel two of the best places on Earth: the great outdoors and Sydney Sweeney’s bathtub.”
In her own words, Sydney Sweeney called the collaboration “weird in the best way.”
“When your fans start asking for your bathwater, you can either ignore it, or turn it into a bar of Dr. Squatch soap,” she joked.
She also added that the project is more than just a publicity stunt — it’s meant to promote natural personal care over conventional products. In fact, Dr. Squatch has long championed this approach, ranking as a top-rated men’s grooming brand by major publications like Forbes.
Limited Edition — And Selling Fast
Only 5,000 bars of Bathwater Bliss will be made. They go on sale Friday, June 6 at noon EST — while supplies last. Given the buzz, they probably won’t last long.
Fans are already buzzing online. On her Instagram post announcing the product, one user commented, “Never thought I’d see the day washing my mouth out with soap wasn’t a punishment, but here we are.” Another joked, “The gooners are gonna spend their life savings getting as many as they can.”
A third chimed in with a question that may resonate with many:
“Are straight men okay?”
From Viral Ad to Viral Soap

Sydney Sweeney’s campaign is just the latest in a wave of quirky celebrity product launches. Earlier this year, her Euphoria co-star Jacob Elordi made headlines with his unexpected Bottega Veneta perfume ad, and even Gwyneth Paltrow once sold a candle that “smells like my va*ina”. Clearly, the weirdness works.
Whether fans are genuinely excited about a clean, eco-conscious soap, or just eager to own a piece of Sweeney’s bathwater, one thing’s certain — it’s a marketing splash that no one saw coming.
